PDD suspends 12 employees, initiates disciplinary proceedings

 

Srinagar: The government Tuesday suspended twelve employees of Power Development Department and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them.

According to KNO, Principal Secretary Power Development Department H Rajesh Prasad in this regard has issued suspension orders against 12 employees.

The suspension and disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against five In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE’s), two Assistant Engineers (AE’s) and five Junior Engineers.

Prasad in different suspension orders of the employees of KPDCL and JPDCL said that the disciplinary proceedings under rule-33 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 are contemplated against them.

Accordingly, the Principal Secretary therefore placed all the 12 employees under suspension with immediate effect.

“The suspended officers shall remain attached with the concerned Executive Engineers till further orders,” it reads.
