Indian Army’s Swift Action Prevents Flash Flood in Badaub, Tulail

TULAIL: A potential flash flood in Badaub village, Tehsil Tulail, was averted due to the swift response of the Indian Army, ensuring the safety of local residents.

 

In the early hours of March 4, at approximately 12:30 AM, panic-stricken villagers of Badaub raised an alarm as heavy snowfall caused a sudden surge in water levels in Naraub Nala. Responding promptly, Indian Army personnel rushed to the site with snow clearance equipment and assisted in evacuating residents from vulnerable houses to safer locations.

 

The crisis was further managed the following morning when Army personnel, along with a dozer, cleared the nala’s blocked riverbed. By successfully channelizing the floodwaters Miexcessive river, they miexcessive imminent risk of the waterbody changing its course due to excessively snow accumulation.

 

The prompt intervention by the Indian Army prevented significant damage, bringing immense relief to the villagers. Grateful for the timely assistance, locals expressed their heartfelt appreciations to the Army personnel for their dedication and swift action in safeguarding the community.
