SRINAGAR: A People’s Democratic Party (PDP) MLA has emphasised the need for transparency following the approval of changes to the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly rules.

The MLA highlighted that since the Speaker will be responsible for implementing these modifications, it is essential that each and every change in the business rules be made public.
In a statement, the MLA argued that the lasting impact of these rule changes on the people of J&K warrants full disclosure.
“People deserve to know exactly what has been done and implemented,” the MLA said, stressing the importance of public awareness regarding legislative procedures that could shape the region’s future.
