Parenting must be taught at college level: NCDC

Srinagar (J&K): The National Child Development Council (NCDC) core committee members urged concerned authorities to ensure parenting classes for students at the college level.

 

During their recent meeting, the core committee members of NCDC discussed about the importance of effective parenting, and said that there is a dire need to inculcate parenting skills among students at college level.

 

“Students should realise the value of parenting, while they should learn that how to be the great parents, as it is mandatory to be the responsible parents, when it comes to take care of children,” NCDC members said.

 

Notably, National Child Development Council (NCDC) is a self-governing national child welfare organization established to promote women and child welfare and ensure child education in India.
