NCDC conducts program on ‘Management of Problems of Adolescents’ 

Srinagar: The National Child Development Council (NCDC) conducted a programme on ‘Management of Problems of Adolescents’, in which the core committee members of the council participated.

 

The programme was held under the supervision of NCDC master trainer and global goodwill ambassador, Baba Alexanader, and was aimed to spread the message about “how to manage adolescent problems”.

 

On the occasion, the members including Sudha Menon, Bindu Jacob, Mohammad Rizwan, Shakeela Wahab & others have said that parents should ensure effective handling of children during adolescence period, while they believed that children should be treated as friends, so that they get complete awareness about what is wrong & what is right, and become responsible citizens.

 

The members said that there should be no communication gap in between parents and children, as many children stay away from parents and can indulge themselves in unethical or illegal activities.

 

“Counselling & awareness programmes should be held for parents, through which they should be trained that how to deal with the children, and how to understand the problems of them,” NCDC members said, adding that children should be allowed to spend respectable life.

 

Notably, National Child Development Council (NCDC) is an autonomous national child welfare organization, established to promote the welfare of women and children, besides ensuring education of children in India.
