Srinagar: A minor drowned to death in Singhpora Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a minor girl identified as Shabnam Jan daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Qureshi resident Singhpura aged about 13 years has drowned in spill Channel Singhpura while taking a bath.
He said that soon after the incident, the rescue operation has been started while efforts are on to retrieve the body
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident.
