Srinagar: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Monday in its announcement attributed an “unavoidable” increase in power curtailment to “limited” electricity availability.
As per the news agency CNS, Kashmir Power DISCOM, an official ‘X’ account of MD KPDCL in a post said, “Due to limited power availability, there has been an unavoidable increase in power curtailment. These restrictions will be eased once power availability improves.”

Amid an “increase in power curtailment”, Kashmir Power DISCOM has advised customers to use electricity judiciously.
“Please bear with us & ensure judicious use of power, especially during peak hours. Avoid exceeding sanctioned load/hooking,” added Kashmir Power DISCOM in the post on X.
