Journalists allege “humiliation” by PDP leaders during press conference in Srinagar

Srinagar: Journalists working with several news outlets on Saturday alleged that they were “humiliated” by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders for “coming late” to a press conference called by the party in Srinagar.

Several journalists while speaking to KNO said that they reached the venue late, where PDP district president for Srinagar, Iqbal Tramboo was scheduled to address a press conference.

“We reached just 10 minutes late for the scheduled press conference and requested the leader to address us again, however, he refused and humiliated us,” they said.

They added that media persons usually wait for the leaders whenever they reach the venue late, but for the first time, leaders didn’t cooperate rather humiliated them and left the venue.
