SRINAGAR: The traffic authorities on Monday afternoon informed that light motor vehicles (LMVs), including passenger and private cars, are being allowed to ply from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).
An official told news agency JKNS, that movement of heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) from the Valley towards Jammu will be permitted only after assessing the road and traffic conditions.
Traffic Department has urged commuters to stay updated on the latest status through the official traffic police Twitter handle and Facebook page, they said.
