Srinagar: Shalimar ward 1 councillor Zareena Akther, has resigned from the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) party, citing the party’s failure to address public concerns.

In an exclusive conversation with Daily Spark News, Akther confirmed her resignation and stated, “The party leadership has been ignoring the issues of the people, which compelled me to call an emergency meeting with my workers today. We collectively decided that I should resign from the JKNC party.”

Akther’s resignation is seen as a setback for the JKNC party in the region, and her decision may have far-reaching implications for local politics.
