Commissioner Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Visited Baltal today to review the sanitation arrangements made by the Rural Sanitation Department.
On this occasion she inspected Sustainable langar-biogas/biomass cooking facility,drainage/sewage cleanliness arrangement and various camping sites.
she also visited Waste Management facility run by SWAHA at domail set up by the department, where dry and wet waste is being processed into bails and composted respectively.
She also interacted with different langar sevadars ,yatris and vendors to get their feedback regarding sanitation arrangements and was satisfied with all the arrangements made by Department.
She exhorted upon concerned officers to ensure that pace of sanitation arrangements does not slow down.
She was also briefed by Sh Raghav langar-Nodal officer SANJY about Sanitation arrangments.
