Srinagar: A boy drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a boy drowned while taking bath in river Jhelum in old Baramulla.
He has been identified as Hazim Nasir son of Nisar Ahmad Dar resident of Jalsheeri.
He said that soon after the drowning incident, police and SDRF reached the spot and efforts are on to rescue the boy.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
