After Two-Day Wet Spell, MeT Predicts Dry Weather Until Feb 14 In J&K

Srinagar: After two-day wet spell, the meteorological department on Monday predicted dry weather until February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

An official from MeT told news agency Kashmir Scroll that In past 24 hours, light to moderate snow/rain occurred at most places of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The official said today, weather will remain partly to generally cloudy with possibility of very light snow over isolated higher reaches, adding that from 6th-14th February, weather will remain generally dry.

 

In view of significant snow accumlation during last few days, he advised people to follow administration/traffic police advisory.

 

Regarding the minimum temperatures, he said Srinagar recorded a low of minus 0.4°C, Qazigund reached minus 1.4°C, Pahalgam dipped to minus 11.9°C, Kokernag registered minus 3.3°C, Kupwara noted minus 0.9°C, Gulmarg marked minus 10.0°C, and Jammu had a minimum of 5.2°C.
