KANGAN: A Cosmic Astronomy Classroom was inaugurated at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHS) Kangan by MLA Kangan along with Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, marking a significant step towards promoting scientific learning and space education among students.
During the inauguration ceremony, senior lecturers from BHS Kangan briefed the dignitaries about the objectives, facilities and academic importance of the Cosmic Astronomy Classroom, highlighting how it will help students gain practical exposure to astronomy and space science.
The event was attended by SDM Kangan, CEO Ganderbal, Tehsildar Kangan, Principal BHS Kangan, SHO Kangan, and several other dignitaries, teachers and staff members.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of introducing innovative and experiential learning facilities in government educational institutions. They said such classrooms would inspire students to develop scientific curiosity and pursue careers in science and technology.
The Principal of BHS Kangan expressed gratitude to the district administration and education department for their support and said the new facility would serve as a valuable learning resource for students.
