Pattan: A 75-year old pedestrian died In an accident at National highway in Singhpora Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday morning.
Official Sources told KNS that An Auto vehicle crashed a 75 year old pedestrian on National highway near Chenabal Singhpora Resulting Critical injuries to the person.

Subsequently Locals Rushed to the spot & tried to evacuate the injured to nearby hospital to Srinagar, However the injured succumbed on the way to hospital: They said.
Official Sources identified the deceased as Ali Mohammad Dar S/O Ab. Rehman (75) resident of Chenibal Singhpora Pattan.
Meanwhile Pattan Police has arrested the driver, registered a case in this regard, Further investigation has been taken up: they added.
