27-yr-old youth injured in wild bear attack in Sonamarg

Ganderbal: A 27-year old youth was injured on Friday evening after he was attacked by a wild bear in Sonamarg area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Officials told KNO that a wild bear attacked a youth identified as Rayees Ahmad Sheikh, 27, son of Muhammad Sultan Sheikh of Chundosa Baramulla, at Sonamarg near Youth Hostel, leaving him seriously wounded.

The youth was immediately brought to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where refer from SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
